False Widow Spider

The False Black Widow Spider, although related to the Black Widow, poses significantly less danger due to its milder venom. Identified by its dark, glossy appearance, it features a whitish line encircling the front, occasionally accompanied by a white stripe down the centre.

While not inherently aggressive, the False Black Widow Spider has been documented to bite on occasion. Its venom may induce illness in children and discomfort in adults. However, such bites are rare and typically occur only when the spider perceives a threat.
